MAC LIPSTICK // PROACTIVE IDEA
MAC Lifesaving Lippy
They say if you find yourself trapped in a date rape situation or in situation where there is no possible way to physically escape a sexual attack, the best tactic is to pretend to go along with it. If you fool your attacker into thinking they will get what they want and can excuse yourself to the bathroom you may just have a chance to send for help.
So why don’t we create an ordinary looking lipstick case that can be used to send out a distress signal if a woman is in danger. Women will be able to use the case for their own MAC lipstick, but the case will have a button that can be turned on if they feel threatened. Once switched on, if lipstick is applied, the action of pressing the stick down on the lip will send out a distress signal and activate GPS tracking. If it’s applied once, a distress call is sent to the person’s list of nominated friends. Or if applied twice, an emergency distress signal is sent to the police.
But how do we keep this lipstick a secret from possible attackers? A lot of women go into a MAC store to buy their products, they want to know they are getting the real deal, they want to try it on and they want to have their make-up done professionally (a deal that Mac offers if you spend a certain amount of money). So we get our MAC girls to only tell women about the lifesaver lipstick case if they are in direct contact with them.
